SA PARTICIPATES IN THE WORLD STUDENT GAMES IN SERBIA

SA will be playing against women soccer powerhouses such as Brazil and Germany at the World Student Games in Serbia from 30 June to 12 July.

University Sport South Africa President Sanele Madlala said the tournament would benefit the country with players getting international exposure. 

Also in the same group with South Africa are Libya and South Korea. Madlala, who is also the head of delegation for the team, said the soccer, volleyball and basketball squads will leave for Serbia on June 24.
