Ford invests R3 billion in SA
Construction is already underway at Ford Motor Company in Port Elizabeth where a new facility is being built to double production. This is part of Ford's R3 billion investment in South Africa, recently announced by the company.
The Straundale engine plant has been awarded the export contract for the new Puma diesel engine. The new deal will give South Africa a chance to shine as an export base for vehicles' engines and components.
