INAUGURAL TOURISM SATELLITE ACCOUNT LAUNCHED
The Inaugural Tourism Satellite Account was launched at the INDABA Tourism Fair in Durban. The launch of the Tourism Satellite Account has been long awaited as until now tourism has not been separately counted in the country's GDP figures which are released quarterly.

TOURISM IN SOUTH AFRICA EXPECTED TO CONTINUE GROWING
South African tourism is performing impressively well in terms of arrivals and growth spend, Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, Marthinus van Schalkwyk said, while speaking at a media briefing at the headquarters of South African Tourism in Sandton.
